So here is a title I never thought I would review, not because I hate Looney Tunes but because it was the only title I really felt like reviewing this week.
There are three stories in this thing, one about the Samson and Delilah story as portrayed by Pepe Le Pieu and some pussy; the other a standard Elmer Fudd fails at hunting story and thirdly a scathing critique of the democratic process.
Pepe Le Pieu is a psychopath, I have made this diagnosis from literally minutes of experience by watching a recent episode of House. He has anti-social tendencies, intensely narcissistic, and uses other people around him for his own purposes and he is completely unable to understand their emotions. His only goal is to please himself, by using other people, he even causes the female of his "desires" to commit self-harm to further his schemes; also he is french.
Of the three the Elmer Fudd one was the weakest, it was a straight up repeated-attempts-foiled thing you would expect, not bad but nothing extraordinary.
The third is a scathing critique of the democratic process, where Bugs Bunny commits fraud by manipulating the electoral process. So let's try and analyze this one: Daffy is portrayed as a money-grabbing charlatan corporate whore, i.e. republican, while Taz is portrayed as a baby-eating lard-ass, i.e. Democrat. It portrays the atheist, Taz as witnessed by his baby-eating habit, as a lazy, fat and incomprehensible ruffian; which is an insult to immigrants everywhere who don't want to learn the basics of the english language while running for office. What does that make Bugs Bunny? Not Joe Public that's for sure, he uses his ill gotten gains by stuffing his own pockets with carrots, Bugs does not represent any of the parties but rather both, seeing as both parties proclaim to be working for the public are in it for their own gains. There will be no carrot cuts until these incompetent fat cats with their caroten bailouts still walk unmolested! It's time to quench the Tree of Libertys thirst with the blood of Tyrants, Ducks, Rabbits and Tazmanians! Wabbit Season! Duck Season! Taz Season! SIC SEMPER TYRANNOSAURUS!
The art is good. Not bad, not astonishingly spectacular, just run of the mill ordinary. It's Looney Tunes all right, which is good enough.
